Pour Into Yourself

Last year was an incredibly healing year for me. I dedicated myself to uprooting and healing deep wounds and the payoff has been tremendous. This year, however, is all about pouring into myself. As I stated in this post, Self-care is one aspect of self-love and is key to living a balanced life. When you care for yourself, you honor yourself. When you honor yourself, you raise your vibration. A high vibration is vital to creating the life of your dreams. 

Here are the things that I like to do to take care of myself:

  1. Watch movies
  2. Take a bath
  3. Listen to music
  4. Read a book
  5. Dance
  6. Hang out with friends
  7. Oil massage
  8. Burn incense
  9. Nap  
  10. Paint my nails
  11. Drink wine
  12. Relax 
  13. Body scrub 
  14. Eat delicious food/ dessert 
  15. Yoga
  16. Run 
  17. Take selfies

I can’t stress how important it is to take time for yourself to do things that help you unwind. You are your most authentic self while you are relaxed and living in the moment. Take some time to create a self-care list and refer back to it as often possible.
